In addition, there are areas of this website that are generally accessible to the public that provide information about the WCRA and its programs. The WCRA also makes publicly available calculators to assist our members and other authorized users with certain calculations that are important to evaluating workers’ compensation claims and benefits.
The WCRA does not require you to submit or input personal information to view the public areas of our website. If you elect to use our calculators, you may be required to input certain information to allow the calculator to complete its calculation. If you apply to be an authorized user of the non-public areas of our website, you are required to input information such as name and address in order for us to serve you appropriately and to determine your status. If as an authorized user of the WCRA you choose to use the non-public areas of our website, you will be required to log-in and agree to the terms and conditions related to the use of the non-public areas of our website. These terms and conditions will address, among other things, the nature of the information that you may submit as well as the WCRA’s use of such information.
In order to use WCRA’s publicly available online calculators you may need to insert information related to a specific workers’ compensation claim, including information such as date of birth, date of injury, supplemental eligibility dates, average weekly wage, initial weekly TTD, PTD status, benefits period, date of death, dependency situation, payment information, gender, percent of disability, nature of disability, total pure premium, weekly payments, attorney costs and previously paid benefits. The information you enter into the WCRA’s online calculators is not collected by the WCRA and is discarded once you exit the calculator. Please note that calculators are for information purposes only and no guarantee, explicit or implied, is made by the WCRA regarding the calculators’ accuracy or suitability for a specific purpose.
