2022/23 Surplus Distribution

The Workers’ Compensation Reinsurance Association (WCRA) had a 2022 surplus distribution of $600 million to its members and insured employers (policyholders). Approximately $383 million went to insurers, $182 million to self-insurers, and $35 million to policyholders.
