Patients who have experienced catastrophic events often have wounds as a result of or subsequent to these events, complicating their recovery. This session will examine acute versus chronic wound healing, identifiable barriers to healing, and timing of appropriate escalation to advanced modalities, and the evaluation of outcomes.

We are a non-profit association committed to being an integral partner to our members, helping them navigate the most serious workers’ compensation claims to achieve favorable outcomes for everyone involved.
Giving Back
WCRA is a proud supporter of SFM Foundation, an affiliate of Kids’ Chance of America. SFM Foundation is dedicated to easing the burdens on families affected by workplace accidents. To achieve this, the Foundation provides post-secondary education scholarships to children of parents fatally or seriously injured on the job.
