Thomas Borman

Tom serves as the public representative on the WCRA Board.  He has practiced law for almost 40 years and is now of counsel with Maslon LLP.  He is also a founder, director and an owner of Tradition Capital Bank of Edina.  Tom has a strong background in insurance and finance, having served as Commissioner of the Minnesota Department of Commerce during the Rudy Perpich administration and later served on the Board of Directors of Georgetown Re, a subsidiary of the old St. Paul Companies.  He has served as a member of a number of non-profit boards including the Minnesota Orchestra, the Humphrey Institute at the University of Minnesota, the Minneapolis Foundation, and Temple Israel in Minneapolis.
